Professional info

Life changes. Circumstances change. People change. Careers should change, but your life's work may never change. I've been fortunate enough to teach for most of my professional life. This has brought me into contact with thousands of amazing people and given me millions of sacred experiences. It was with great trepidation that I left the classroom to work on the Foundation. But then, it was a change whose time had come to leave the Foundation and devote my time to becoming an indie author entrepreneur. The common thread through these opportunities has been my sincere and intense desire to serve, and that has never changed.

Happy Places
  • Educating, Training, Teaching,  (yep, they're different)

  • Writing

  • Photography

  • Homesteading: gardening, food preservation, vermiculture, composting, and other fun, sustainable activites that I hope reduces my impact on the earth, etc.

  • Researching, which looks a lot like playing on the Internet & flipping through tons of books, but is really filling the well.

Professional Development

On-going and filled with workshops on writing & herbalism; food preservation & permaculture; social media & literary marketing; women & agriculture, income generation, medicines of the earth, & the business and art of writing.

Personal exploration will include developing a home apothecary, teas, tinctures, and decoctions; creams, lotions, and soapmaking; mushroom cultivation, fermentation, beekeeping, chicken-tending, and master gardening. Refreshing my French and dabbling in Spanish.
