All Saints-Remembrance/Beginning

What remains with us, and what are we beginning?

Our lives are shaped by people, experiences, and commitments that continue to matter long after circumstances have changed.

Some influences are easy to recognize. Others have become so much a part of how we live that we rarely stop to notice them.

Remembering is not only about looking backward. It can also help us recognize what we carry into the future—and what we may choose to begin.

All Saints is a guided contemplative retreat offering time to consider what has shaped your life, what remains worthy of remembrance, and how those things may inform the life you are continuing to make.

You don't need to arrive with a particular memory or something you need to resolve.

There is room to honor what has been and attend to what comes next.

The Experience

We inherit more than possessions or traditions. The people who have shaped our lives leave traces in how we think, what we value, what we practice, and how we care for others.

Some of those influences are welcome. Others may be complicated. And some become visible only when we take time to consider them.

At the heart of this retreat is a story about remembrance and the ways a life continues to matter through the lives of others.

Through storytelling, guided gatherings, and individual contemplation, you'll have time to consider the people and experiences that have shaped you, what you wish to carry forward, and what you may choose to begin.

There is no expectation that you share personal memories, resolve unfinished feelings, or arrive at a particular conclusion.

The invitation is to remember with care, and to recognize that your own story is still unfolding.
